This year marks the 19th Annual Toy Angels campaign. Toy Angels is Calgary’s largest Christmas toy drive in support of the Salvation Army’s Family Assistance Christmas Program. Formerly known as Toy Mountain, the campaign was rebranded after 18 years, but the goal is the same: to collect toys for kids who may not get any presents at Christmas time.  Each year, at my annual Client Appreciation movie night, I collect toys for the program which helps families in need during the holiday season. Due to the generosity of my clients, last year over 150 toys were collected from the appreciation night.  It’s a feel good cause that is something I am truly passionate about.

During last year’s campaign 36, 000 toys and $6600 were collected and organizers hope they surpass that this year.

The annual Toy Angels campaign begins on November 6, and runs through to December 20, with the donations going towards The Salvation Army’s Christmas Program. Salvation Army will distribute the donated toys and gift cards to Calgary children for Christmas.

Please drop off a new, unwrapped toy to one of the following donation locations: IKEA, Marlborough Mall, North Hill Centre, Westbrook Mall, and Calgary Police Service locations.
