Help me Help the Kids! Caring for Kids Radiothon on February 4th

Blog by Heather Davis | January 6th, 2016

Tune in to Country 105 February 3,4 & 5, 2016 to hear how your support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital is helping over 90,000 kids who rely on our hospital each year! Over its 12 years, the Country 105 Caring for Kids Radiothon has raised more than $19 million and has helped fund family-centered child health programs, specialized life-saving equipment and advanced pediatric research and education at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. This is a cause that is especially important to me and I need your support to help raise awareness of this important event. I will be taking pledges on February 4th from 11-2pm and need your support! Please call me at 403-615-5989 to donate to this generous and amazing cause!

During the 3-day live broadcast from the hospital, you'll meet the people at the heart of it all - our kids and families. Hear the incredible and inspiring stories of hope, help and healing from dozens of amazing children and their parents on Country 105 FM radio in Calgary.

Thanks to you, the radiothon so far has funded

  • State-of-the-art tools and technology to help surgeons provide safer and more innovative surgeries for children – and even some they weren’t able to do before.
  • Special infusion pumps to administer medications to critically ill children while they are being transported to the Alberta Children's Hospital.
  • Resources to help experts find new cures and better treatments for kids fighting cancer.

All funds raised by the radiothon will go directly to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation to support excellence in pediatric health care.

We need your help to make Radiothon a success so visit www.kidsradiothon.com to learn more about how you can help and donate today!
